Mushrooms

I have a thing for fungi photos. I always seem to have a few taken on the ground, or on a tree branch, or a bit of dead timber. I like fungi - the colours, the textures, the shapes. Maybe it goes back to my years in Brownies and my vivid imagination as a child where fairies, goblins, elves and all fae-folk gathered under mushrooms/toadstools.

When I met my husband he pointed out how weird these images were and how very few people take fungi shots. I then found lots of nature photographers with fungi in their collections. He's now taken to photographing some himself if he sees them when I'm not around. I think I have a fungi-convert!
