Conference

The annual RWA conference is this weekend. It's loud, noisy, overwhelming and inspiring. This year I'm in with a group of rural writers, so I have a meeting to discuss our books, and then a photo with a whole bunch. So that's a dream come true... finally! It's only taken me 6 years :)

And this month is also handover of the newsletter I've been doing for a couple of years. It's busy this handover...but the reward at the end looms large - more writing time. I'm meeting up with one of the new editors and no doubt we'll talk and talk! Plus we can take photos together and jot notes together. So that will be better than doing it alone and forgetting, like last year.

I'm hoping this conference will fill my well, kick start a year's worth of ideas, and be the start to a year full of writing.
