I went and saw the movie Twilight the other night with my 15-year old niece. We had both read the book and loved it. We found the movie difficult at the start because we were so disappointed in the actors chosen for the characters - no one was right. Hope you weren't sitting near us as we groaned, gasped and complained!!
Once we got over that, we did enjoy the film. Although, we agreed with a friend of my niece who said there was no chemistry between the lead actors - and there wasn't. Chemistry dripped from the pages of the book - not so the film.
I'm struggling with a book at the moment - Edgar Sawtelle - it has received great reviews but I am slogging away at it. I'll let you know how I go. I'm halfway so far but now that I'm on holidays I'm hoping to get it done quickly.
