I have just returned for another writing Conference that re-charges, re-juventates and re-vitalises. This is only my second one but I had so many people to talk to, catch up with, put a face to an email-friend.
A few major highlights -
* I received some beads made from our newsletter's pages
* My mentor won the Romantic Book of the Year in the long section.
* I was asked to send my manuscript after pitching.
It was good to see people after the workshop as well. I spent some time chatting and de-briefing the event and that was useful.
So, another year of writing. Another year to set goals. Last year my goal was to pitch, and I achieved it. Next year I would dearly love to have a first sale ribbon so that is my ultimate goal. My realistic goal is to have another manuscript completed.
